Material ablation
When marking glass surfaces, the material is strongly heated, which results in a thin material ablation. Depending on the type of glass used, extremely clean and sharp contoured markings can be produced.
The advantages of this type of marking are, in particular, the robustness in contrast to mechanical stress as well as heat influences and liquids such as water and oils.
The correct laser technology for the user is basically oriented to the marking depth desired and the machining time available. The laser technology best suited for your application can be determined in one of the ACI laboratories by a free-of-charge test.
